INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) stipulates the composition of the Board of Commissioners for the term of office 2026-2030 through the Annual Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham (RUPS) held on Thursday (6/18).
The agenda is carried out with the end of the term of office of the Board of Commissioners for the period 2022-2026.
RUPS which opened at 09:55 WIB was attended by shareholders representing 5,820 shares or 97.98% of the total 6,000 shares with voting rights.
At the meeting, all shareholders unanimously approved the appointment of A. Fuad Rahmany as President Commissioner, as well as Indra Christanto and Margeret M. Tang as Commissioner of KSEI for the period 2026-2030.
The stipulation marks the continuation of the service period of Fuad Rahmany and Indra Christanto who are again trusted to assume the position as Commissioner of KSEI.
Meanwhile, Margeret M. Tang joined as a new member of the Board of Commissioners in the most recent management period.
Fuad Rahmany is known to have a long track record in the financial sector and capital markets. He served as Chairman of the Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Board (BAPEPAM-LK) for the period 2006-2011, Komisioner Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) for the period 2009-2014, and Director General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance in 2011-2014. Since 2014, Fuad has also actively held the position of commissioner in various companies.
Meanwhile, Indra Christanto was re-elected for the second time as a member of the Board of Commissioners of KSEI. He currently serves as President Director of PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk after previously serving as Director of the company in the 2012-2018 period.
His experience in the capital market industry also includes the position of Equity Director of PT Andalan Artha Advisindo, a member of the KSEI Budget Committee, a member of the APEI Securities Brokerage Department, a member of the Bursa Efek Indonesia Trading Committee, to a member of the Bursa Efek Indonesia Disciplinary Commission.
On the other hand, Margeret M. Tang brings a long experience in the KSEI environment. He served as Interim Responsible (Pjs.) President Director of KSEI in 2014-2015 after previously being a Director in the 2010-2014 period.
Margeret was then trusted as President Director of KSEI in 2015-2016. In addition, he has also held the position of Commissioner of PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI), Independent Commissioner of PT Bintraco Dharma Tbk, and Independent Commissioner of PT Independent Investment Management.
With the new arrangement, KSEI is expected to continue to strengthen corporate governance and support the development of Indonesia's capital market infrastructure that is increasingly modern, efficient, and competitive.
