INDUSTRY.co.id - President Prabowo Subianto on Saturday afternoon (05/09) received the United States Ambassador to ASEAN, Kevin Kim, and the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, Joy M. Sakurai, at his private residence in Hambalang, West Java.
In a written statement, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting was held in a cordial and productive atmosphere. The discussion focused on ongoing efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership between Indonesia and the United States.
“During the meeting, they also discussed several initiatives to enhance cooperation between the two countries, including promoting regional cooperation and stability, as well as strengthening bilateral relations based on the principles of mutual respect and equal partnership,” he stated.
The Cabinet Secretary added that the meeting is expected to further solidify the foundation of Indonesia-U.S. relations, both bilaterally and in support of regional peace, stability, and progress.
“This meeting is expected to further strengthen the foundation of Indonesia-United States relations, while also fostering closer, more constructive, and mutually beneficial cooperation, both bilaterally and in promoting regional peace, stability, and progress,” he added.
Accompanying President Prabowo at the meeting were Minister for Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
