INDUSTRY.co.id - Flam, an AI-powered interactive content platform, has raised $40 million in Series B funding in a round led by QED Investors, as the company moves to expand its technology, product offerings, and global enterprise business.
The funding round also included participation from Claypond Capital, Australian Gulf Capital, the SRK Family Office, Martin Chavez, Olivier Pomel, and other prominent investors. Existing backers RTP Global and Dovetail also increased their investments in the company.
Flam said the new capital will primarily support research and development, with a focus on advancing its proprietary AI models, expanding its product suite, and accelerating enterprise sales worldwide.
The funding comes as Flam reports rapid commercial growth. The company has secured more than 100 enterprise customers within six quarters, including major brands such as Google, State Farm, and Diageo. Flam is also targeting $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by next year.
Building the Next Generation of Interactive Content
Flam's platform is based on the idea that digital content has evolved from text to images and video, while largely remaining a one-way experience between creators and audiences. The company aims to change that by enabling audiences to actively interact with and influence content in real time.
“Curiosity is the oldest human instinct. We don't just want to see the world; we want to reach out and shape it,” said Shourya Agarwal, Founder of Flam. He added that the company is investing in AI research to make interactive experiences seamless and accessible to enterprises globally.
Flam's technology is backed by more than 15 patents and supports three core types of interactive experiences: Flicks, Airboards, and Visual Agents.
Flicks are interactive videos that combine generative AI with proprietary compression technology to deliver smooth, responsive playback.
Airboards provide high-fidelity 3D content through a camera interface, with Flam's Fable AI model generating experiences from text and image prompts.
Visual Agents feature hyperrealistic AI avatars designed for real-time conversations. The company's Fantom model handles facial expressions, identity preservation, and motion transfer, while its Falcon 26B-parameter Mixture-of-Experts large language model powers conversational and agentic capabilities.
Flam says its technology can achieve approximately 30 milliseconds of time-to-first-token inference and around 300 milliseconds of time-to-first-buffer, allowing interactive experiences to be delivered dynamically at runtime across physical and digital environments.
QED Investors Backs Flame's Enterprise Potential
Nigel Morris, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at QED Investors, said Flam stood out because it combines advanced AI infrastructure with an enterprise-ready platform and strong commercial traction.
“Interactive content has been attempted many times, and the pattern has always been the same: compelling demos that never scale,” Morris said, highlighting Flam's ability to address both the technical and commercial challenges of deploying interactive content at scale.
Flam currently serves customers across areas including product visualization, brand storytelling, entertainment, fan engagement, customer support, and learning.
Following the Series B, the company plans to expand its AI research team, strengthen its international presence, and invest further in its technology platform.
Flam's broader vision is to make interactive content a mainstream part of how companies engage with customers, moving digital experiences from passive consumption toward active participation.
