INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) opens the recruitment of Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) in 2017 of 380 formations with 43 positions for Diploma III (D-III), D-IV / Strata 1 (S-1), S-2 and S -3.
This is based on the Decree of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 50 of 2017 dated August 31, 2017 on the Needs of State Civil Servant Employees within the Ministry of Industry of Fiscal Year 2017.
"In an effort to encourage the improvement of national industry performance in order to increase global competitiveness, it needs competent personnel especially on human resources (lecturer) as the implementation of vocational education development of industry," said Secretary General of Ministry of Industry, Haris Munandar according to official statement received in Jakarta, Thursday (7/9/2017).
Haris explained that the need for recruitment of human resources is related to the task given to the Ministry of Industry to establish eight Polytechnics and Academy of Industrial Community, and to fill the teaching staff for SMAK / SMTI in the Ministry of Industry.
"In addition, we need additional human resources in order to encourage R & D activities, and researchers and engineers are urgently needed for technological development in order to improve the competitiveness of national industries that are currently developing rapidly in innovation trends," he said.
This recruitment, according to Haris, is also directed to prepare regeneration of prospective leaders in the Ministry of Industry that most will enter the retirement age in the near future.
The allocation amount of 380 formations is part of the vacancy opened by the government in the second wave of this year with a total of 17,928 formations at 60 Ministries / Agencies and Provincial Government of North Kalimantan.

Recruitment this time is not only open to the public or graduates with cum laude predicate, but also provide opportunities for those with disabilities and sons and daughters of Papua and West Papua. In general, applicants are citizens of Indonesia who pious to God Almighty, faithful, and obedient to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
For the requirements of applicants cumlaude formation, age of at least 18 years on September 1, 2017 and a maximum of 34 years on December 1, 2017. Meanwhile, for the requirements of general applicants, disability and the Community of Papua and West Papua, for D-IV to S-3 age a minimum of 18 years to a maximum of 34 years and a maximum D-III level of 30 years.
In addition, other applicant requirements must have good English language skills with a TOEFL score of at least 475 for Teacher and Lecturer formations. TOEFL score of at least 500 for formation in the units of the Directorate General of Defense and Development of International Industrial Access. The TOEFL score is valid for the last two years.
Meanwhile, for the Education Achievement Index, it is mentioned that for graduates of S-3 and S-2 must have a GPA of more than 3.25. Then the level of D-IV / S-1 has a minimum GPA of 2.75 and D-III has a minimum GPA of 2.50.
Previously, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto stated, it is determined to continue to improve the ability and competence of its apparatus in order to be able to make policies that can accelerate the growth of industry.
This is in line with the mandate of bureaucratic reform that emphasizes the importance of fostering and developing human resources apparatus.
"We continue to encourage Kemenperin employees to improve their knowledge either by continuing their education to a higher level, or attending training, workshops or internships in order to know and understand the needs of the industry today," he explained.
