Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Truck Entrepreneur Association, Kyatmaja Lookman, said the cost would make the transportation cost of goods more expensive. "If there is a top up cost, the more expensive transportation costs will be," Kyatmaja said recently.

He mentioned, truck entrepreneurs will also be affected by the plan. The reason, as of 31 October all vehicles passing on the toll road are obliged to pay using electronic money (e-money).

Kyatmaja responded to the statement of Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Martowardojo who previously ensured the governor's board regulation of charging the contents of the bank's electronic money balance will be issued by the end of September 2017.

"We will set the maximum limit, and the amount, the cost will not be excessive burden consumers," said Agus.
