INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Railink introduces innovation in the form of Airport Railways Ticketing System (ARTS) at Soekarno Hatta International Airport. ARTS is an online ticketing system that can be accessed through Vending Machine, Internet Booking and Mobile Applications.

"ARTS is a ticketing system developed by PT Railink and became one of our best offerings for the community, and we also proudly thank all those who have been involved in realizing this ARTS," said Railink Operations and Engineering Director, Porwanto Handry Nugroho, in an official statement received in Jakarta, Saturday (30/09/2017).

According to Porwanto, ARTS will be a public transportation ticketing system in the future due to many advantages presented, ranging from payments that can be made in cash (cashless), without card (cardless), and without operator (manless).

Cashless, meaning no more cash payments are made on all channels of Airport Train ticket sales provided by ARTS. Cardless means ARTS does not issue a special card as a transaction tool.

"So every passenger can make payments using their banking cards either in the form of debit cards, credit cards, or prepaid," he added.

While manless, means ARTS no longer provide ticket counter served by the operator. Prospective passengers can purchase tickets via Vending Machine, Internet Booking and Mobile Applications.

As for its operation, Railink has cooperated with banking, payment gateway and network provider. From banks supported by BCA, Bank Danamon, Bank DKI, Bank Maybank Indonesia, Bank Permata and Bank QNB. In addition there is also Telkomsel with its TCASH products.

While the payment gateway is DOKU, Midtrans, Artasaja, Finnet and Kartuku. While the party as a network provider is ICON +.

"Through ARTS, Railink is ready to support the operation of Soekarno-Hatta Airport railway in the near future, and we hope through this system in addition to providing services that are easy, fast and reliable can also be used as a reference ticketing system for other public transportation," he explained.

As is known, Railink developed ARTS approximately for one year. In its development, Railink has invested Rp30 billion.

For the initial phase, Railink will install 4 units of ARTS vending machine machine in Sudirman Station and 4 units also at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station. But in the future will be added in accordance with the needs.
