INDUSTRY.co.id - Kendari - Head of Southeast Sulawesi's Manpower and Transmigration Agency, Saemu Alwi, said 113,313 residents of the region are absorbed into the labor of the processing industry sector.
"As many as 113,313 workers are scattered in 60,152 businesses or companies in 17 districts of the city of Southeast Sulawesi," said Saemu, in Kendari, Sunday (28/05/2017).
He said the largest labor absorption from the manufacturing sector is in Konawe Selatan Regency with 14,727 workers spread in 6,895 businesses.
"Furthermore, in Muna Regency there are 14,561 workers in 8,090 businesses, then Konawe regency is 11,830 workers from 5,973 businesses," he said.
Kendari City as many as 10143 work on 4,220 businesses, Bombana regency as many as 9,223 work on 4,556 businesses, East Kolaka as many as 7,736 workers in 5,973 businesses, North Kolaka regency as many as 5777 workers in 1937 business, Wakatobi regency as many as 5.755 workers on 3,624 businesses, Baubau City has 5,143 workers in 2,840 businesses.
Then the North Buton regency of 4,330 is the work of 2,787 businesses, North Konawe Regency as many as 3,956 workers from 1,937 businesses, West Muna district as many as 3,371 workers from 1,836 businesses, Buton Regency as many as 3,748 workers from 2,459 businesses, Konawe Islands District as many as 3,026 workers Work of 1,823 businesses.
"Kolaka District 2,621 workers from 1,376 businesses of South Buton Regency are 1,857 workers from 1,289 businesses and Central Buton Regency with 178 workers," he said.
It is said that the workforce is dominated by small medium scale usage industry (UMK) as much as 108,033 workers with 60,041 businesses, the rest on large medium enterprises of 5,280 workers in 111 processing business.
