Director General of Industrial Zoning Development (PPI) of the Ministry of Industry, Imam Haryono, said that PT Konawe Putra Propertindo has license to develop an industrial area of ​​5500 hectares.

"Actually, this location permit has been permitted by RT and RW of Konawe Regency. It has been in-Perda-kan with Local Regulation No. 9 of 2014, "said Imam in Jakarta (6/7/2017).

The case, he said, in the permit location of the industrial estate there is irrigation area of ​​ponds and swamp irrigation area built by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. The location is also used as agricultural land.

Furthermore, Imam explained, the Ministry of PUPR and related SOEs are willing to release the area and donated to the region, namely Konawe District. "But on condition, technically, the existence of the distance of swamp irrigation and ponds is no longer functioning or destined by the surrounding farmland," said Imam.

Furthermore, on the issue of Konawe Industrial Estate which is considered to be on Sustainable Agriculture Farming Land of the Ministry of Agriculture, Imam ensured that he had discussions with the Minister of Agriculture, Amran Sulaiman.

 "It was decided that our agriculture minister moved this LP2B. So for this release is no problem," he concluded.
