INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - A total of 50 workers Tank Trucks (AMT) Pertamina will conduct a long march on Friday (13/10/2017) tomorrow, in Jakarta. They come from 1,095 workers from 9 depots in various provinces who are in dispute dismissal against Pertamina Patra Niaga and Elnusa Petrofin.
"We are protesting against the oppressive system through a strike at last Lebaran," said Chairman of AMT, Nuranmo in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (10/10/2017).
In the statement mentioned, for AMT workers, the issue of repression in Pertamina also occurred in various state-owned enterprises, such as PLN.
The workers, partly from West Java, will convey the theme of the campaign and protest with the demands, "Sues the State, Save the BUMN." The lawsuit urges to reform the SOE management system.
Workers who are members of the Indonesian Port Transportation Workers' Federation (FBTPI), said Nuranmo, consider the mismanagement of SOEs, not only Pertamina Patra Niaga and PT. Elnusa Petrofin, which harms state finances, consumers, and impoverishes its workers through an outsourcing system.
"The workers will be styled like zombies to give the message that state-owned enterprises are in ½ dead conditions to just survive," he said.
The action that will require the reform of the BUMN also has the support of a number of labor movements and other civil society movements, such as KSPI, KASBI, GSBI, SP Permata Bank, LBH Jakarta, Agrarian Reform Consortium, Federation of Popular Students, National Student League for Democracy and Student Union Indonesia.
