Previously, the Indonesian Consumers Foundation (YLKI) urged the government and related parties to provide tariff compensation for users of non-tariff rates or electronic cards (E-toll).
"The Ministry of Public Works (PUPR), Toll Road Authority, and toll management should be able to provide tariff incentives to toll users already using e-toll," said Yusuf Daily Executive Chairman Tulus Abadi.
According Heru, with a discount of Rp20.000, that, when the purchase of a starter card, the consumer does not need to pay the price of the starter pack and simply pay the same amount of dollars with the balance that consumers get.
"The period of validity of this offer is October 16-October 31, 2017," he said.
Heru asserts, this program is aimed at those who do not have electronic money card, so for those who have to keep using the card they already have and use the card periodically with "top up" (increase the amount of cash value) balance through channels that have been provided by each bank of electronic money issuer.
"We hope that through this incentive program, 21 percent of toll road users can move directly using electronic transactions, so at the end of October the Government's target for 100 percent of electronic transactions on toll roads can be achieved," Heru said.
