Incidentally today ILB even one year received permission as a bonded logistics center of the Directorate General of Customs, Ministry of Finance. So, with ILB's operation, here I am personally very proud and satisfied. Because I was also targeted by my boss
(Director General of Customs-Red), to be able to participate to create and improve the regional economy, especially from the tin industry. As is known, the province of Bangka Belitung is the largest tin commodity producer in Indonesia, "said Nasrul.

"With ILB's operation as a leaded export logistics center, it will provide assurance and guarantee for overseas buyers as well as support the trading of tin futures contracts in Indonesia Commodity and Derivative Exchange-ICDX. If this all goes according to plan, then Indonesia will reach the sovereignty of tin, "explained Nasrul.

"The journey of ILB is still very long. And there are still many programs that will be implemented both in short and long term to support the physical trade of tin in Pangkalpinang. So Indonesia is really sovereign of tin commodity, "said Henry.
"Today there are as many as 75 tons of tin export production of PT. Tower of Cipta Mulia, which is also a member of ICDX in tin physical trade. And for some time to come, ICDX member smelter will keep more tin commodity at ILB. Therefore we are very hopeful this multiplayer ILB will be positive on the improvement of the Indonesian economy, especially in the province of Bangka Belitung, "said Henry.
Head of Bappebti, Bachrul Chairi, in a recent statement, said the ICDX as a commodity futures exchange has obviously contributed to the national economy with the establishment of tin physical market on August 30, 2013, then.
"The integration of tin physical market held by ICDX with an exported tin-bound logistics center will make Indonesia a market as well as a reference of tin price both domestically and in the world market. So, in the short term, the economic benefits of market integration will be felt for Indonesia, especially in Bangka Belitung province, "Bachrul said.
To illustrate, the ILB bonded logistics center has an area of about 5,000 square meters with a storage capacity of about 10,000 tons of tin. ILB is located on Jln. Admiral Malhayati No. 139, Ketapang, Kec. Pangkal Balam, Pangkalpinang.
