"During the rainy season, I ask that infrastructure development work in Jakarta to pay attention to the water channel, do not be underestimated," said Anies at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/12/2017)

According to him, the existence of water channels is very important during infrastructure development work, especially when the rainy season. The drainage serves to prevent puddles.

"I ask all the implementers of infrastructure development in Jakarta that the project will not trigger the puddle and the project must still work," he said.

He said the emergence of puddles in the area of ​​Jalan Gatot Subroto and Jalan HR Rasuna Said on Monday (11/12) yesterday triggered by the remnants of materials derived from the construction of infrastructure projects that clog the channel.

"Therefore, I will call all the implementers of infrastructure development projects so that the work should not trigger a pool in the surrounding area," Anies said as quoted by Antara.

Furthermore, he revealed Jakarta Water Resources Department actually has often reminded the project executor related to the waste of project work which often clogging water channel.

"We will call all of them, we will give instructions to immediately clean all the water channels and clogged water lines," said Anies.
