INDUSTRY.co.id - Surabaya - The Association of Industrial Estate (HKI) officially cooperated with PT Mega Access Persada (FiberStar), a network provider company to complement the super fast internet network infrastructure with fiber optics in several industrial areas.

The cooperation is bound after HKI and FiberStar signed Cooperation Minutes (BAK) for the supply of fiber optic network in the industrial area at the HKI Conggress in JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya, Monday (31/7/2017).

Thomas Dragono, Commerce Director of FiberStar revealed that 2,500 hectares in two industrial estates will soon be worked on FiberStar following a memorandum of understanding signed by HKI and FiberStar.

Initially, said Thomas, FiberStar will work on the industrial estate of Bukit Indah City in Cikampek, West Java with an area of ​​2,000 hectares. In addition, following Pulogadung Industrial Estate (JIEP) will also be worked on FiberStar with an area of ​​500 hectares.

"The plan of the whole area is 2000 hectares in Bukit Indah, August for preparation of construction and work in the field We hope that the link or network can be used by tenants in Bukit Indah City on September 1, 2017," said Thomas to INDUSTRY.co.id, in HKI Conggress, at JW Marriott Hotel, Surabaya, Monday (7/31/2017).

"We will for the phase, at least in some areas that have been achieved will we release first, so that existing facilities can be used by investors or tenants in the City of Bukit Indah," said Thomas.

Meanwhile, in Pulogadung, FiberStar will finalize the network of 500 hectares.
