INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono is conducting a review to extend the concession period or extend the toll road management time. The study was conducted to reduce the toll tariffs that people complain of too expensive.

"We've been ordered by the president and are looking at how to reduce prices, there is only one gap that is extending the concession," said Basuki

Basuki mentioned that the concession study will study the length of time for concession extension until the tariff will be applied.

"The length of the concession is again studied, for example 45 years at what price, what 50 years, 55 years how many, 60 years how we will decide later," said Basuki.

Although still under review, Basuki assures, toll tariffs will fall this year, and no regulation will be changed.

"This year, the tariff is down, there is no regulation change," said Basuki.
