"Clearly we are interested to invest there, whether electronics or timber," said Mualim, as quoted from tribunjateng Tuesday (13/12).
Mualim say, currently Mugan Group has 20 companies in Indonesia. One of them is plywood investment company in PTKendal Indah Perkayuan Indonesia (KIPI).
Currently the status of Mugan company is still leasing land, it wants to be able to buy their own land in KIK. Yet, until now the top management still have other considerations.
Mualim also commented on the existence of Kendal Port. He specifically discusses the commercial terminal that is under construction.
"Actually the potential is great if the port of Kendal (niaganya) can be like Semarang, can be for direct export places," he said.
He considered that infrastructure in the KIK area should be boosted both in road infrastructure, public transport accessibility, electricity and water. Fundamental things that attract investors. Regarding when to invest in KIK, he submits a decision on top management. In essence, it is very interested.
"The issue of licensing is also currently still an obstacle for entrepreneurs ranging from the central to regional government," he said.
