INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (MoKH) signed a memorandum of understanding related to improving the guidance and guidance of the independence of prisoners. This memorandum of understanding is an update of a memorandum of understanding between the two Ministers which expired on 24 May 2017.
Director General of Small and Medium Industries (IKM) of the Ministry of Industry, Gati Wibawaningsih said the memorandum of understanding is a joint effort of the Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Law and Human Rights to create new entrepreneurial seeds through the development of independence.
"Residents assisted in prisons and prisons are expected to become creative business actors so that Sipa compete in the industry when finished undergoing coaching," said Gati Wibawaningsih at the Ministry of Industry, Jakarta, Monday (08/28/2017).
He added that the guidance of the targeted citizens as a new entrepreneur is one of the efforts to optimize the potential and improve the competitiveness of human resources as well as to keep trying to improve the national economy. "With good social guidance and by channeling talent through coaching and guidance, new entrepreneurs are expected to contribute positively to the surrounding environment especially after completion of the coaching period," she explained.
Furthermore, Gati explained that with the signing of this new MoU, the Directorate General of IKM Ministry of Industry will discuss the continuation of the cooperation agreement with the Directorate General of Correctional Human Rights of Ministry of Law to increase the government's effort in the growth of new entrepreneurs for the targeted citizens.
"To implement the cooperation, we have organized several activities to foster skills and expertise for prisoners and to improve the quality of products produced by inmates who have worked," she concluded.
