Super Bear Adventure Pirate Ship: Where It Is and Why It Left Missions

Highlights

The pirate ship is in Beemothep Desert and first appeared in 10.5.0 (November 7, 2023).
The changelog called it "useless but it looks cool".
Update 11.1 "The pirate update" (April 23, 2024) made it functional.
13.0.5 (September 17, 2026) removed the pirate ship from missions.
The theme lives on in the Pirates of the Forgotten Sea bundle from Update 13.0.

A pirate ship stranded in the middle of a desert is one of the odder sights in Super Bear Adventure. Players often ask whether it can be sailed, and why it no longer shows up in some missions.

The answers are in Earthkwak Games' official changelog on superbearadventure.com, which traces the ship from a decorative prop to a drivable vehicle and then to its removal from missions.

Quick answer: The Super Bear Adventure pirate ship is in Beemothep Desert. It was added as decoration in version 10.5.0 (November 2023), became functional in Update 11.1 "The pirate update" (April 2024), and was removed from missions in version 13.0.5 (September 2026). The changelog does not mention removing it from the regular desert level.

Where Is the Pirate Ship?

The ship is in Beemothep Desert, the Egyptian-themed world with pyramids and a sphinx. The 10.5.0 changelog (November 7, 2023) reads: "Added a pirate ship in Beemothep Desert. It's useless but it looks cool." At launch it was pure decoration.

Version 10.5.0 was a big update in its own right, moving the game to the Wwise audio engine and reworking Beemothep Desert with a new pyramid design, house interiors and props across the level.

Update 11.1: The Ship Becomes Drivable

Earthkwak Games released Update 11.1, nicknamed "The pirate update," on April 23, 2024. The 11.1.0 notes list "Added functional pirate ship in the desert." The developers added that the update began as a bug fix release for 11.0 but grew into a proper content update.

Version	Date	Ship-related change
10.5.0	Nov 7, 2023	Decorative pirate ship added to Beemothep Desert
11.1.0	Apr 23, 2024	Pirate ship made functional
11.1.1	Apr 30, 2024	Fixes for hand rotation while driving, ship water collisions in missions, inputs when exiting
12.0.0	Jul 2, 2025	Improved visibility when sailing the boat
13.0.5	Sep 17, 2026	Pirate ship removed from missions

The 11.1.1 fixes show the ship was usable inside missions at the time, since one fix addressed the ship missing collisions with water during missions.

Why the Ship Is Gone From Missions

If the ship does not appear during a mission, that is intended. Version 13.0.5, released September 17, 2026, lists "Removed pirate ship in missions." No reason is given, but the same update contains several mission fixes, including blocking players who change the system date to cheat the mission timer.

The changelog does not say the ship was removed from the regular Beemothep Desert level, so enter the desert normally rather than through a mission if you want to find it. The current version is 13.0.8 (October 5, 2026).

Pirate-Themed Cosmetics

The pirate theme spread to cosmetics after Update 11.1. Version 11.1.3 (August 30, 2024) redesigned the skull cosmetic with three levels and the skeleton body with two, and added a four-level knight helmet whose visor closes when an enemy is nearby.

Update 13.0 (July 20, 2026) introduced paid cosmetic bundles, including Pirates of the Forgotten Sea, sold at Capitalos' blue shop next to Cosmic Crew, Mission Explorers, Robot Lab and Osos Latino.
