Most Super Bear Adventure players know the game for its free 3D platforming, but it also has one piece of paid content built around music. Pierre Music Kit Vol.1 adds outfits with special abilities, new songs and an in-game show.

What Is Pierre Music Kit Vol.1?

The 11.0.0 changelog describes PMK Vol.1 as "a new DLC for Super Bear Adventure which features unique items and songs." It arrived in Update 11.0, "The new cosmetic update," on April 5, 2024, the same release that overhauled the cosmetic system, added item levels and replaced gold times with bronze, silver, gold and diamond medals.

The songs were composed by Pierre Thibault, who co-founded Earthkwak Games with Stéphane Hulot. In the game, his character DJ Pierre can be saved in Turtletown and was previously known simply as "Pierre."

The Four PMK Outfits

Each outfit is a set of items, and several come with something functional rather than purely cosmetic.

The Night Bear item is the most practical, since it lets you play any level at night. The muscle car was later patched in 11.1.3 to fix a spawning bug.

DJ Pierre Show in Bear Village

Update 11.0 also added a new area in Bear Village called the DJ Pierre show, where you can listen to the PMK songs and watch a live show. PMK Vol.1 can be purchased there. Version 11.1.0 later fixed DJ Pierre's music playing over the climb challenge music.

PMK Vol.1 Becomes a Bundle in 13.0

Update 13.0, "The Bundles Update," released July 20, 2026, introduced paid cosmetic bundles sold at Capitalos' blue shop and turned Pierre Music Kit Vol.1 into one of them. The same update removed PMK lootboxes on Nintendo Switch.
