INDUSTRY.co.id - Sleman - Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemkominfo) and KIBAR initiated the National Movement of 1,000 Startup Digital. Sleman Regency was chosen to host the implementation of the final stage of the scope of Special Region of Yogyakarta, Saturday (2/12/2017).

"The National Movement of 1,000 Startup Digital has been implemented in 10 major cities in Indonesia, and in this last Sleman for DIY region," said Head of Public Relations Bureau Ministry of Communications and Informatics Noor Iza.

According to him, the final stage of the bootcamp stage, held on December 2 and 3, 2017 at the Bappeda Hall of Sleman Regency.

"Earlier, for DIY there were 1,200 registrants at the ignition stage or seminars to instill entrepreneurship mindset. Of 1,200 participants were screened into 850 participants to continue to the workshop stage of the provision of digital startup skills," he said.

He said, armed with the knowledge gained in the workshop, 250 participants went to the third stage of the hackathon to generateprototype products from the idea of ​​application solutions.

"Furthermore, 100 participants consisting of 14 teams follow the bootcamp stage which is a deep mentoring session to prepare a product launch strategy," he said.

He expressed his appreciation for the participants who successfully participated until this fourth stage. "The government encourages the development of e-commerce roadmap and the ecosystem of digital industry from various lines, first we encourage SMEs to go online both technopreneurship so that there are 1000 startup," he said.

to be able to realize it, he continued, the technopreneur must be able to think big. "Sure for the context we think big now, the government has a program to encourage startup to be a unicorn whose name is Next Indonesian Unicorn," he said.

The program is in line with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo who has a vision to make Indonesia as "The Digital Energy of Asia" in "Silicon Valley".
