INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Indian company Thermax International Indonesia (TII), inaugurated the construction of a manufacturing plant in Indonesia. The manufacturing plant, which will be built in Cilegon Banten, will produce packaging boilers, heating, cooling, steam accessories, water and wastewater treatment, as well as air pollution control equipment.

Thermax CEO, M.S Unnikrishnan, said that Southeast Asia has tremendous growth potential and regional progress. "Indonesia can contribute to growth and progress in this regional region," he said, in Jakarta, Thursday (07/27/2017).

Meanwhile, marketing manager of TII, Dedi Fahruli said, the investment value of the manufacturing plant is worth US $ 25 million in phase 1. Hopefully, the investment value will continue to grow as demand increases.

"The investment value until phase 1 is around US $ 25 million but if the order gets more and more, we can be more than that," said Dedi.

This investment, is an expansion of Thermax Limited. However, Dedi said, this investment is the first step to build a factory in Indonesia.

Dedi acknowledged, it has been since 2014 established a representative office for Indonesia, he believes the market potential of its largest products exist in ASEAN. "Indonesia is expected to become an ASEAN hub, because the population is the largest in the region," he said.

The selection of plant site development in Cilegon is because cilegon is considered to facilitate the transfer of factory logistics, which is 10 km from the port. "Factory distance up to 10km will facilitate our logistics," he said.

Dedi said, the largest consumer of its products comes from palm and textile industries. Consumers are in palm oil industry, using boilers to be heated while textiles to loosen yarn.
