INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) expects 50 companies to join in Kendal Industrial Area(KIK) in 2017. KIK, which was inaugurated in November 2016 and has now been occupied by 30 companies.
Hyanto Wihadhi, Business Development Director of KIJA, said that the company's management this year targets to acquire 500-1000 hectares of land. For the first stage of industrial development, KIJA has prepared 1,000 hectares of land.
For the development of KIK at this time, we will focus on labor-intensive industries, especially textile industry. Because the textile industry in Central Java is generally labor intensive. However, several other manufacturing industries, manufacturers of motor vehicle parts and bicycle factories have also started to join KIK, Hyanto said on the sidelines of the Central Java Role Event in National Investment in Jakarta, Thursday (13/04/2017).
Besides that, Hyanto, KIJA will also continue to develop the area of Cikarang and Tanjung Lesung. In Cikarang, KIJA develops residential projects in the form of apartments. While in Tanjung Lesung which is a tourist area, KIJA develop resort development project.
The recurring revenues from the company itself came from clean water treatment infrastructure, wastewater treatment and electricity and Cikarang dry pot.
