INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) targets 50 companies to enter and invest in Kawasan Industri Kendal (KIK) in Central Java.
“We have several projects, first in Cikarang, West Java, developed as an industrial area of electronics and automotive manufacturing. Second, in Tanjung Lesung, Banten, developed for tourism industry with 1,500 hectare resort land,” said Director of business development of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), Hyanto Wihadhi in Jakarta, Monday (17/4/2017).
According to Hyanto, This year his side wil develop KIK. From the target of 50 companies that mostly work in the labor-intensive sector, spare parts, and bicycle factory models.
“our hope, certainly can invite more investors to invest in Kendal,” said Hyanto.
KIK is an industrial area owned by PT Kawasan Industri Kendal, a subsidiary of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk with a joint venture of 51%, and with Singapore sembawang Corporation 49%
The area focusing on labor-intensive industries has a total area of about 2700 hectares. However, for the first phase, the company will develop 1000 hectares first.
This vompany target pre-sales for KIK projects to reach Rp.500 billion this year. As for the presale of cikarang industrial area, the company targets Rp.1.4 Trillion.
This year, the company's capital expenditure is planned to reah Rp.600 billion, which is fulfilled from the company's cash. Last year's revenue dropped from Rp.3.13 trillion to Rp2.93 trillion
Nevertheless, the company's net profit rose 29% to Rp436.62 billion. The xompany aims to increase revenue by 10% to 20% this year.
