INDUSTRY.co.id - Cileungsi, President Joko Widodo believes exports will increase after customs clearance and licensing facilities are made online.

President took the time to briefly review PT Samick Indonesia which has been producing musical instruments, especially piano and guitar.

The former Governor of DKI wants to have the permission process done online and made as efficient as possible.

"I think it will provide good motivation to investors, especially export orientation, export oriented industry, and export oriented factories," said the President, who was reviewing the factory wearing a blue vest of Customs uniform.

The President asserted that Indonesia needs two important things that can affect the economic growth that is investment and export.

"If there is ease that so increased, the key to our economic growth is here," he said.

On the occasion, an online licensing was launched which the President also socialized about the new rules regarding the acceleration of customs and excise licensing in the framework of ease of effort to the 1,425 companies present.

The acceleration of customs and excise licensing in the framework of ease of business has been set forth in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) with a focus to encourage ease of investment and exports.

There are four scopes that are set to accelerate customs and excise licensing. First customs registration is simplified in terms of requirements, time and more.

On the other hand, improvements were also made to bonded stockpiling (TPB) provided with the suspension of import duty. In addition, there is no tax levy in the framework of import (PDRI) for business actors in the framework of certain activities in bonded zones, bonded logistics centers and others.

The Government also provides easiness for imported export destination (KITE), namely the exemption or refund of import duties on imports of goods and materials to be processed, assembled or installed on other goods for export purposes.

Fourth is for the number of the taxable goods entrepreneur (NPPBKC) where the permit to operate as a factory businessman, the entrepreneur for the storage of dutiable goods, the dealer or the businessman of the place.
