INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the research institute Mckinsey Global Institute released an analysis that the 4.0 industrial revolution will eliminate 800 million jobs worldwide.

"Once again, eliminating 800 million jobs worldwide," said President Jokowi at the opening of Indonesia Industrial Summit 2018, at the Jakarta Convention Center on Wednesday (4/4/2018).

Jokowi expressed his disbelief if one day human labor will be taken over by robot and engine power in the next 12 years.

"It means that 800 million workers worldwide will lose their jobs because they are taken over by robots and machines in the next 12 years, so if I do not believe that if I'm a pessimist I do not believe or at least I do not believe it," he said.
