What Is SBA Gold?

Before SBA Gold, Super Bear Adventure had a Donor status added in Update 1.6.2. In version 10.2.0, known as The photo mode update and released May 10, 2023, Donor status was rebranded as SBA Gold.

That version's changelog says SBA Gold brings exclusive features such as photo mode filters. Donor items became legendary items, and several new legendary items were added at the same time.

The version 10.4.0 changelog mentions two separate purchases: SBA Gold and Removed Ads. Both unlock one important perk, the ability to spend Capitalus tokens instead of watching rewarded ads.

Capitalus tokens are earned by collecting enough coins in any level. Since version 11.0.1 they are capped at 100. So players who often use rewarded ads for boosters or revives can skip those ads as long as they have tokens left.

The difference is that photo mode filters are named as an SBA Gold exclusive. The changelog does not list everything Remove Ads includes, but as the name suggests, that purchase focuses on ads. Check each product's description in the in-game store before buying.

SBA Gold Does Not Unlock Every Legendary Item

The most common misunderstanding is that SBA Gold unlocks every legendary item. That did happen once, but the version 10.4.0 changelog states that legendary items are no longer all unlocked when buying SBA Gold.
